Greg MacLeod - Director

Greg MacLeod trained at Toi Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School in 2004 and has since built an extensive career in theatre as a performer, director, and writer. With a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and a deep connection to Dunedin audiences, he is passionate about bringing productions to the stage.

Greg’s diverse range of roles spans both musical theatre and live entertainment. Notable performances include:

Musical Theatre Dunedin: Jersey Boys (2023, Tommy DeVito), Les Misérables (2021, Javert), Wicked (2019, The Wizard), Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (2018, Tick), Hairspray (2013, Edna), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2012, Joseph), Miss Saigon (2010, Engineer), Beauty and the Beast (2006, Dunedin & Wellington, Beast), West Side Story (1999, Big Deal).

Taieri Musical: Mary Poppins (2017, Mr Banks), Blood Brothers (2019, The Narrator), Jesus Christ Superstar (2001, Jesus).

Independent Productions: The Full Monty (2008, Jerry), Rock Tenors (2022, 2024 – Pink Floyd).

Fortune Theatre: Lend Me a Tenor (2004, Concierge), Lulu (2005, Ensemble).

Film & Television: The Royal Treatment (Netflix, 2021, Concierge), Eden (Short Film, 2010, Cam).

Concerts & Events: Ultimate Bublé Experience (2022), The Highlights (2020), Ovation (2018). Producer and performer with The Little Cabaret Band, a nine-piece big band, including producing Hospice Charity fundraiser Planet Earth is Blue – A Wake for Bowie at Sammy’s (2016).

Directing & Writing: Greg directed MTD’s theatre restaurant production Stiff (2014) and wrote and directed several Dunedin Christmas pantomimes, including The Return of Robin Hood (2006), Not So Snow White (2007), and Sinbad (2008).

Bridget Telfer-Milne - Musical Director

After a lifetime involvement in musical theatre as a performer and Musical Director, Bridget is super excited to be back at MTD as Musical Director alongside an ‘A’ list team of creatives, cast, band and crew. Recent and favourite show credits as Musical Director include, Spring Awakening, Chicago, (earning her an OSTA for Best Musical Direction), That Bloody woman, Heathers, Blood Brothers, Les Miserables, Buddy Holly story and Jesus Christ Superstar. Not moving too far away from her passion for musical theatre, by day, Bridget can be found teaching contemporary and musical theatre voice at the University of Otago. Keen to promote and foster young musical talent in Dunedin, in 2020, she joined forces with friend and colleague, Arlie McCormick and formed a small musical theatre production company, Pop Up Productions NZ successfully producing ‘Spring Awakening’ and ‘Heathers’ with more productions planned for the future.

Olivia Larkins - Choreographer

Olivia Larkins - Choreographer

Olivia graduated from the University of Otago gaining her Bachelor of Performing Arts in 2021 and her Master of Teaching and Learning, endorsed in Secondary Education in 2022. Olivia currently works as a Music and Dance teacher at Taieri College in Mosgiel. She has always been passionate about performing and has trained in a variety of singing genres and dance styles over the past 16 years.

Olivia has enjoyed performing in a variety of shows, musicals and theatre restaurants throughout her performance journey but has a special passion for choreography. Olivia has worked on a number of shows in recent years, including “Seussical” and “Fame” for Bayfield High School, “Spamalot” for Kings and Queens, and “High School Musical” for Columba College. Olivia has enjoyed becoming familiar with using MTD’s wonderful performance space through choreographing the 2021 Theatre Restaurant “It’s Showtime”, the 2023 Theatre Restaurant “Dusty- The Musical in Concert” and the 2024 Theatre Resturant "A Christmas Craker". She also stepped out of her normal zone of choreography to work on PUPNZ’s 2023 production of “Spring Awakening”.
